Complete User Guide for Music Maker Studio

Welcome to the Future of Sound

Music Maker Studio is a lightweight yet powerful web-based notation editor designed for musicians, beatmakers, and producers. It uses Tone.js to simulate professional-grade synthesizers and drum machines directly in your browser.

1. The Studio Interface

The Notation Box

This is where your composition lives. Each block (e.g., pc120) represents a note played by an instrument at a specific tempo.

The Music Grid

A 12-pad reactive interface. Clicking a pad triggers a sound and automatically inserts a notation block into the editor.

Instrument Tabs

Switch between Piano, Guitar, Violin, and Drums. Each instrument has its own unique audio engine.

Tempo Slider

Control the speed of your composition. The studio supports a wide range from 30 BPM (BPM/Slow) to 300 BPM (Fast). Note: Your current tempo is automatically saved into each note block you insert.

Master Controls

Play back your entire sequence once, enable Loop Play for infinite playback, export it as an audio file, or save your text notation for later use.

2. Understanding Notation

The notation format follows a strict [Prefix][Note][Tempo], structure. This allows you to hand-edit your music or share it easily.

g : Guitar ge140,
v : Violin vf#100,
d : Drum (1-12) d1, d4,

Note: Drum pads are represented by their index (1-12) rather than musical notes.
